In Loving Memory of James "J.C." Morris
J.C. is the grandson of E.W., and hailed the same talent for cooking and creating Creole Dishes with the same flair as his grandfather. As such, his culinary skills, marketing training and experiences had garnered him success in designing and showcasing the Creole Foods as part of his contribution to the family endeavor. He had been courted by some of the finest eating establishments in New Orleans, Maine and Boston to feature the Creole Family Recipes.
J.C. was flattered by the offers, but opted to remain on tract with his career in drug and alcohol counseling. He helped many youth and endeavored to serve the community in this manner so that he could give something back as he himself had been helped. Those of us who knew J.C., know that in his most essential self, he remains here with us now, present not only in our fondly recalled memories, but alive to our deepest and most secret selves; even more able than ever before to assist each of us in his gently compassionate and loving way. His is the whispered voice that will continue to encourage and uplift us from moment to moment over the years ahead as we complete our own lifes mission.
When you will, you may call J.C.s spirit to hand by simply reflecting upon the remarkable way he had of being among us, or by merely stopping to take a moment to feel fully, the presence of All that Is, Which surrounds and sustains each of us. Take joy, as J.C. would have you do, in a renewed awareness that in All That Is, from Which we all came and to Which we all return, there will always be something of J.C., an energy of spirit who encourages us to do as he did and take joy from the fulfillment of our life in appreciation of every moment of its expression.
As we go forward in our endeavoring to fulfill our dreams, we know that J.C. will be there in spirit ever lifting us up to realize all our goals. And, it is with this heartfelt expression that we dedicate all that we do in our family business to the appreciation and loving memory of our son and grandson, J.C. Morris.
